Our graduates to appear in new works at the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival !
- Several 2011 graduates will perform in The 7 Fingers cabaret: Dario, Maxim Laurin, Camille Legris, Tristan Nielsen, Eric Bates, Alexandra Royer, Devin Henderson and Colin Davis.
- The 7 Fingers' Patinoire, a solo show by Patrick Léonard (1997), is reprised. Nicolas Cantin, a teacher at the School, participated in the staging while Howard Richard, the School's director of creation, collaborated on the choreography.
-Several students appeared in the minutes complètement cirque, urban events devised by Antony Venisse (2001) and Manuel Roque (2000).
-Cirque Alphonse, just completing a residency at the School, will present a new creation, Timber. Alain Francoeur, artistic consultant for the School, will direct while Antoine Carabinier Lépine (2000), Jonathan Casaubon (2000) and Guillaume Saladin (2001) all perform.
- Several of the School's students and graduates will compete in the next circus-improv match, a concept adapted for the circus by Nicolas Fortin (2010) and Philippe Trépanier (2003).
Other Festival shows starring our graduates
- Rosalie Ducharme and Louis-David Simoneau (2009) return to Montreal for a star turn on fixed trapeze in Totem by Cirque du Soleil.
- The Throw 2 Catch troupe with Nicolas Boivin-Gravel, Samuel Roy (2005) and Jean-Philippe Labelle (2002) lights up the night in St-Léonard!
- The OKIDOK duo of Benoît Devos and Xavier Bouvier (1997) returns to Montreal to present Slips Inside.
- Compagnie Rasposo with Bruno Lussier (1992) will perform the North-American premiere of Le chant du dindon, (The Turkey's Song).
-Les parfaits inconnus, a troupe made up of Sylvain Dubois (1994), Emile Carey (2001) and Simon Nadeau (2009), will storm Marché Maisonneuve square for two performances.
