A gold medal for a graduate at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain

The alumni greatly represented the School at the 32st edition of the Festival du Cirque de Demain in Paris. Uuve Jansson (2008 graduate) won a gold medal. Her swinging trapeze number will be part of the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain presented at TOHU from February 15th to 27th.

Over the past two decades, over 45 students and graduate from the School have participated and won over thirty medals and special awards, four of those are gold medals, 13 silver and eight bronze. Moreover, in 2009, for its 30th anniversary, the Festival had invited the National Circus School, represented by 14 of its students, to perform the opening number of this prestigious event, with an original creation directed by the School's creation Director, Howard Richard.
